Celia’s Story
Celia Songbird is a female Ebony Elf Pegasus bard, archmage and general charmer and flirt. She is extraordinarily beautiful and wears attention-getting, tight and brightly-colored garb that leaves her back exposed. The reason is that it allows for those times when she transforms into her winged form so that her clothing doesn’t hinder her wings. She primarily sings and plays the harp and dances when performing.
Celia primarily uses her pegasus abilities to charm her way through situations and to dispel magic when she doesn’t want to make it known that she is a wizard, especially because her pegasus ability to dispel magic is about equal to her wizardry spells. Her preferred pegasus shifter form is her winged elf form although she may add the falcon form so that she can accompany her winged cat familiar. She rarely uses the other pegasus forms.
As an archmage, Celia is relatively powerful although still relatively inexperienced. She prefers a collection of useful minor spells and one or two powerful attack spells: she sees herself as a defensive and support spellcaster as opposed to a primary offensive spellcaster. She is quite confident in her abilities as a wizard, though.
Celia does have some amusing flaws. She is fastidious, meaning she keeps herself neat and clean, almost like a cat. (One of the first wizard spells she ever learned as Clean.) Her other flaw is that she is clumsy: she especially has an unfortunate habit of spilling things on other people but never herself, amazingly enough.
Celia has a familiar, a winged cat she calls Nuisance. Nuisance is a black shorthair cat with falcon-feathered wings However, when she found her, Nuisance was disguised by the seller with a white bib and paws as an all-black cat was considered very unlucky.
Character History
Celia is a prime example of how a character evolves in response to game play. At first, she was just an inconsequential charmer with no other ambitions except to be the center of attention everywhere. But after an encounter with a Pylos agent she decided to pursue wizardry as to compliment her draconic clan heritage.
She is also an example of how prior, unrelated character development plays out: she became part of the Ravenwing clan largely because of the fact that her wings are black, even though it gave an advantage to wizardry.
Secrets
She doesn’t keep it much of a secret, but Celia is allergic to fire flowers.
